Ellerton Pratt⁹ Whitney (Henry Austin⁸, Joseph⁷, Joseph⁶, Samuel⁵, Benjamin⁴, Thomas³, Thomas², John¹), son of Henry Austin⁸ and Fanny (Lawrence) Whitney, was born 21 Aug 1858, Boston, MA.^[1]

He married, 5 Jun 1901, Gloucester, MA, or 6 Jun 1901, Magnolia, MA, or 5 Jun 1901, Magnolia, MA (recorded at Worcester, MA), Ellen C. Sargent, daughter of Joseph and Nellie L. (McClure) Sargent.^[2] She was born about 1876, Worcester, MA.

They resided Blue Hill, MA.
