Jonas6 Whitney (Timothy5, Jonas4, Moses3, Richard2, John1), son of Timothy5 and Alice (Whitney) Whitney,[1] was born 21 Oct 1770 [Pierce and gravestone], or 21 Oct 1771, Petersham, MA,[2] and died 23 Apr 1845, Otis, MA, aged 75 or 76 years.[3] He was buried in Norton Cemetery, Otis, MA.[4]

Marriage intentions were published 25 Nov 1790, Blandford, MA, for him "Mr." and "Mrs." Mary Noble, "both of Blandford",[5] daughter of Silas and Mary (Taylor) Noble. She was born 11 Jan 1771, Blandford, MA, and died 26 Nov 1850, Otis, MA, aged 77 years. She was buried in Norton Cemetery, Otis, MA.[6]

He was a blacksmith. He resided Otis, MA.
