Cyrus William⁸ Whitney (Barnabas⁷, Paul⁶, Timothy⁵, Jonas⁴, Moses³, Richard², John¹), son of Barnabas⁷ and Emily (Bracey) Whitney, was born about 2 Jun 1862, Chittenden, VT, or Bolton, PQ, and died 24 Aug 1907, Stow, MA, aged 45 years 2 months 22 days, of pernicious anemia.^[1]

He married, before 1887, Helen Josephine Atwood, daughter of Philip and Harriet (-----) Atwood. She was born 15 Mar 1867, Groton, MA.
