John Wesley Whitney (George M., Thompson, [prob.] David), son of (George M. and Edna G. (Morrison) Whitney, was born 21 Oct 1876, Candor, NY, and died 21 May 1961, Candor, NY.[1]

He married circa 1900, Tioga Co., NY, Lena A. Davis, daughter of Frank A. and Anne E. (-----) Davis. She was born Jul 1882, NY, and died 1959, Candor, NY.[2]

i. Harland Whitney, b. 11 Feb 1902, Tioga Co., NY; d. Dec 1981, Candor, NY; m. Myrtle Jordon.

iii. Marion L Whitney, b. 21 Apr 1912, Tioga Co., NY; d. Mar 1991, location unknown; m. Marshall W. Hover.
