Charles⁸ Whitney (Zimri⁷, John⁶, Zachariah⁵, John⁴, Joseph³, John², John¹), son of Zimri⁷ and Susanna (Sanderson) Whitney, was born 2 Mar 1805 and died 26 Feb 1851.

He married, 1 May 1828, Dublin, Cheshire, NH, Adaline Strong.^[1] She was born ca. 1808, NH.

They resided Charlestown, MA and had 10 children.
