He married, probably about 1797, but the name of his wife is unknown. She was born between 1765 and 1775, and died after 1820.
Apparently Aaron Whitney had children, but their names and dates of birth are unknown. They can be inferred from the census records below.

- 1820, Guilford, Penobscot Co., ME: Aaron Whitney, 1 male 45+, 2 males 16-25 (including 1 male 16-17), 2 males 0-9, 1 female 45+, and 1 female 10-15; 3 in agriculture.
