Aaron Whitney, parentage unknown, was born between 1770 and 1775, if the census records below all belong to him, and died after 1830.

Since he appears in Thompsonborough together with Jonathan Whitney and Jonathan Whitney, Jr., it seems likely that he was closely related to them. Possibly he may have been a son of Jonathan, Sr., and brother of Jonathan, Jr., but this is just a guess.

He married, probably about 1797, but the name of his wife is unknown. She was born between 1765 and 1775, and died after 1820, and probably before 1830.

Apparently Aaron Whitney had children, but their names and dates of birth are unknown. They can be inferred from the census records below.
