Family:Whitney, Macon (c1767-a1800)

Macon Whitney, parentage unknown, was born about 1767, probably in Virginia, and died after 1800, probably in South Carolina.^[1]

He married Rachel DeBusk 5 July 1787 in Washington County Virginia.^[2]

Note: Macon is often confused with Malcolm Whitney of South Carolina.

Possible children of Macon Whitney, based upon a census reconstruction, order uncertain:

ii.	son Whitney, b. 1790-1800.
iii.	daughter Whitney, b. 1790-1800.

Several children of Macon Whitney and Rachael DeBusk have been identified, but to date cannot be definitively proved:
