Joseph Addison Whitney was born in Harvard, Massachusetts. For a few years prior to his death, he engaged in the real estate business at Market Square, in Boston, Massachusetts, and was so engaged at the time of his demise. He died in Boston, 10 Feb 1847; resided Boston, Massachusetts.
