James Harvey7 Whitney (Jonas6, Timothy5, Jonas4, Moses3, Richard2, John1), son of Jonas6 and Mary (Noble) Whitney, was born 23 Jul 1795, Otis, MA.[1]

Marriage intentions were published 20 Mar 1814, Otis, MA, for him and "Miss" Amanda Rogers, "both of Otis".[2] She was born about Apr 1797, and died 2 Aug 1814, Otis, MA, aged 17 years 3 months.[3]

He married secondly, 30 Nov 1815, Otis, MA, "Miss" Lydia Gates "of Otis".[4]

According to Pierce, he died without [surviving] issue.

Child of James Harvey7 and Amanda (Rogers) Whitney:

i. (son)8 Whitney, b. 2 Aug 1814, Otis, MA; d. 2 Aug 1814, Otis, MA, aged 2 hours.[5]
