George G.⁸ Whitney (Cyrus James⁷, Jonah⁶, Isaiah⁵, Isaiah⁴, Isaiah³, Thomas², John¹), born 6 Feb 1840; married in Kentucky, 14 Oct 1872, Elizabeth Bowl, born Hull England, 3 Aug 1852. He was a soldier in the late war; resided Louisville, Kentucky, and Antrim, H.H.

i.	Emma M.9 Whitney, born 30 Mar 1874, noted singer, leading soprano M.E. church, Louisville.
ii.	Granville G. Whitney, born 18 Jan 1880.
