Timothy⁷ Whitney (Simon⁶, Timothy⁵, Jonas⁴, Moses³, Richard², John¹), son of Simon⁶ and Lucy (Hammond) Whitney, was born 2 Apr 1789, Petersham, MA, and died 20 Jun 1871.

He married firstly, 18 Oct 1817, Petersham, MA, Lucy Bryant. She was born 1 Jul 1799, and died 23 Sep 1843.

He married secondly, 25 Jan 1848, Barre, MA, Mary Hastings.^[1]
