Hon. Charles S.⁷ Whitney (Alexander⁶, Alexander⁵, Eleazer⁴, Eleazer³, Thomas², John¹), born New London, New Hampshire, 1 Mar 1837; married 5 Jan 1865, at Penacook, New Hampshire, Laura Pearson, of Wilmont, born 16 Sep 1841. He is a farmer, was elected to the office of selectman for two consecutive terms, and represented his town in the legislature in 1887; resided New London, New Hampshire; P.O. Scytheville.

i.	Carrie E.8 Whitney, born 6 Jan 1866; married 6 Jul 1889, Frank Reed; resided Unity, New Hampshire.
ii.	George W. Whitney, born 25 May 1878; resided N.L.
