He married, 8 Aug 1860, Lucinda Hamburger. She was born 22 Feb 1840, and died 26 Jun 1876.
He resided Bowling Green, OH.
Children of Erastus Frank8 and Lucinda (Hamburger) Whitney:
i. Rosa Etta9 Whitney, b. 1863; d. 1891, North Judson, IN; m. John G. Benkie. They had three children two surviving her. He married again and resided Koutz, IN. ii. Adelbert Ezra Whitney, b. 10 Sep 1865, resided unmarried 205 Illinois St., Chicago, IL; clerk in post office. iii. Lester Elihu Whitney, b. 7 May 1872; resided with Adelbert. iv. Willis Clark Whitney, b. 2 Dec 1878; resided Bowling Green.
