Horace Torrey¹⁰ Whitney (Allis⁹, Torrey⁸, Moses⁷, Samuel⁶, Samuel⁵, Nathaniel⁴, Nathaniel³, John², John¹), son of Allis⁹ and Elizabeth (Welch) Whitney, was born 30 May 1844.

He married, 5 Nov 1867, Isabella Elizabeth Palmer.

He resided Honesdale, PA.

Children of Horace Torrey¹⁰ and Isabella Elizabeth (Palmer) Whitney:

i.	Fred Blakeslee11 Whitney, b. 31 Jul 1868.
