Horace Torrey¹⁰ Whitney (Allis⁹, Torrey⁸, Moses⁷, Samuel⁶, Samuel⁵, Nathaniel⁴, Nathaniel³, John², John¹), son of Allis⁹ and Elizabeth (Welch) Whitney, was born 30 May 1844, PA, and died after 1880.

He married, 5 Nov 1867, Isabella Elizabeth Palmer. She was born about 1848-1850, NY or PA, and died after 1880.

He resided Honesdale, PA.
