Family:Whitney, Isaac (1773-1807)

Isaac6 Whitney (Samuel5, Samuel4, Nathaniel3, John2, John1), son of Samuel5 and Martha (Howes) Whitney, was born 1773, and died 14 Jan 1807, Watertown, CT.

He married, 15 Jan 1798, Watertown, CT, Susannah Bryan. She died 16 Mar 1861.

They settled in Watertown, CT, and in 1805 he purchased land of Jonathan Scott. He resided there until his death of the lake fever. After his death she disposed of the property, and in 1816 moved to Westerlo, NY, where she resided until 1828, after which she resided with her daughter Sally, and died at her home in Clarkson, NY. He resided Claverack, NY, and Watertown, CT.

i. Sallie7 Whitney, b. 29 Dec 1798; d. 31 Oct 1880, Clarkson, NY; m. 20 Apr 1820, Adam Snyder; b. 15 Jun 1798; resided Clarkson, NY. He d. 1 Dec 1879; was a farmer. Adam and Sallie Snyder died and were buried in Clarkson, Monroe County, NY.
Ch.: Isaac Whitney, b. 26 Jun 1827; d. 26 Jun 1827, Westerlo, Albany County, NY; Henry Nettleton, b. 24 May 1831, Clarkson, Monroe County, NY; m. 18 Oct 1876, Unadilla, MI, Carrie Eugenia Lyman; present address, Bureau of Pensions, Middle Dept., Washington, DC.
ii. Susanna Whitney, b. 5 Dec 1800; d. Mar 1821, Westerlo, NY.
iii. Isaac John Whitney, b. 20 Dec 1803; m. Martha Ann Rowell.
