Family:Whitney, Gorham (1806-1859)

Gorham⁷ Whitney (Reuben⁶, Abel⁵, Nathan⁴, Nathaniel³, Benjamin², John¹), son of Reuben⁶ and Mercy (Baker) Whitney, was born 19 Jun 1806, Litchfield, ME, and died after 1850, and apparently before 1860.

He married 12 Apr 1829, Litchfield, ME, Olive Pain, daughter of William and Ruth (Curtis) Paine. She was born 15 Aug 1809, Litchfield, ME, and died after 1880.

He was a cooper. They lived in Gardiner and Newcastle, ME.
