V. William Grumman Young, b. in Kirkland, N.Y., 14 aug. 1843; a farmer; married at 103 Court Street, Utica, N.Y., 1 Oct. 1868, by Rev. Daniel G. Corey, Baptist, to Helen Adelaide Sayles, whose father then lived in Mohawk, N.Y. She was born in Frankfort, N.Y., 27 May 1848, dau. of Nathan Verian and Nancy Maria (Brockway) Sayles. they lived at Kirkland, with his father, in 1874.

I. Seth Whitney Peck, b. at Kirkland, now Marshall, N.Y., 25 Ap. 1828; a farmer; married at her father's house, 1 Oct. 1851, by Ref. Hiram H. Kellogg, Congregational, to Mary Barton, dau. of Eliphaz Breed and Polly Maria (Barker) Benton, of Marshall, where she was born 18 May 1830. They settled on a part of his father's homestead, in Marshall, and were living there in 1874. He has been supervisor of the town for three years.

II. Charles Isaac Peck, b. at Marshall, N.Y., 5 July 1838; a farmer; married at her father's house, 17 Dec. 1862, by Rev. L. W. Hayhurst, Baptist, to Cordelia Asenath Benedict, dau. of Ransom and Clarinda Caroline (Willis) Benedict, of Waterville, N.Y., where she was born 9 Jan. 1839.1 They settled in Marshall, and were living there in 1874, in the same house in which his father and grandfather died.

III. Andrew Munger, b. at Marshall, N.Y., 27 Feb. 1833; a farmer; married at Charlotte, Chautauqua Co., N.Y., 1 June 1858, Mary E. Williamson, dau. of David and Lucy (Johnson) Williamson, of Charlotte, formerly of Sparta, N.Y., where she was born in 1839.
