Patience Eames (Susannah Whitney⁴, Jonathan³, Benjamin², John¹), daughter of Gershom and Susannah⁴ (Whitney) Eames, was born 5 May 1728, Holliston, MA,^[1] baptized 5 Oct 1729, Holliston, MA, and died 5 Jun 1763, Mendon, MA.^[2]

Marriage intentions were published 1 Feb 1752, Mendon, MA, for her "of Holliston" and Ephraim Twitchell. She married, 19 Oct 1752, Holliston, MA, Ephraim Twitchell, son of Ephraim and Sarah (Mellen) Twitchell. He was born 25 Oct 1723, Sherborn, MA, and died 24 May 1802, Milford, MA, aged 74 years, of dropsy. He married secondly, 13 Apr 1769, Mendon or Milford, MA, Lydia Parkhurst, both "of Mendon".

iii.	Lydia Twitchell, b. 12 Sep 1760; bapt. 14 Sep 1760, Milford, MA; d. 4 Apr 1798; m. 21 May 1778, Mendon, Milford or Braintree, MA, David French.
iv.	Ephraim Twitchell, b. 30 May 1763; bapt. 19 Jun 1763, Milford, MA; m. Eunice Chamberlain; m. (int. 10 Nov 1789 [sic], Milford, MA) 10 Jan 1789 [sic], Eunice Chamberlain "of Westmoreland".
