Aaron married, 16 Dec 1765, Harvard, MA, Anna Lawrence,[4] daughter of Benjamin and Jane (Russell) Lawrence.[5] She was born 19 Jul 1742, Harvard, MA,[6] was baptized 26 Sep 1742, Westborough, MA,[7] and died 16 Jul 1773, Harvard, MA, aged 30 years 11 months 27 days.[8]
Aaron married, 21 Apr 1774, Harvard, MA, Sally Pollard,[9] daughter of Walter and Dorothy (Danforth) Pollard.[10] She was born 18 Jan 1747, Bedford, MA,[11] and died 10 Apr 1820, Harvard, MA, aged 73 years.[12]

Pierce says the following:[13]
- During the Revolutionary war he was in the company commanded by Capt. BURT in Col. WHITCOMB's regiment. Aaron WHITNEY's will of Harvard, yeoman; wife, Sarah; son, Moses; son, Aaron; son, Abel: dau., Anna DANFORTH, wife of Benj. DANFORTH; dau., Sarah DAVIS, wife of Eleazer DAVIS. Aaron WHITNEY, son, exec., May 20, 1817.
