Albert7 Whitney (John6, John5, Abraham4, Isaiah3, Thomas2, John1), son of John6 and Mary (Mundy) Whitney, was born 21 Jul 1811, Goffstown, NH, and died 28 Nov 1892, Nahant, MA, aged 82 years 4 months 18 days, of old age and exhaustion.[1]
He married firstly, 24 Nov 1836, Lynn, MA, Elizabeth Rice,[2] daughter of Jesse and Sally (Coleman) Rice. She was born 24 Nov 1816, and died 28 Apr 1848, Lynn, MA, aged 31 years, of inflammation of the bowels.[3]
He married secondly, 3 Oct 1848, Lynn, MA, Susan Relief Rice, daughter of Jesse and Sally (Coleman) Rice.[4] She was born 27 Aug 1820, Lynn, MA, and died 11 Jul 1884, Nahant, MA, aged 63 years, of heart disease.[5]
He kept hotel at Nahant and his building occupied the site of the residence of "Gov. Breed," in 1717. He resided Nahant, MA.

Harriett Elizabeth Whitney, b. 6 Nov 1845, Lynn, MA;[8] m. 25 Nov 1868, Nahant, MA, William S. Teal, b. ca. 1834, Hudson, NY, son of Lawrence and Harriet F. (-----) Teal;[9] resided Nahant, s. p. iv. Susan Rice Whitney, b. 12 Apr 1847; m. 1869, Frank Coburn; resided Lowell, MA. Apparently Susan was adopted by her aunt and uncle, Washington Harlow and Minerva (Rice) Johnson. She appears in their family as Susan F. Johnson in the censuses of 1850 and 1860, and was married under the name Susan F. Johnson to Frank Coburn, on 6 Oct 1869, Nahant, MA. In 1870 they were living in Nashua, NH, and in 1880 at Lowell, MA.
