Albert Allen8 Whitney (Benjamin Franklin7, Joseph Lee6, Jeremiah5, Jeremiah4, Nathan3, John2, Henry1), son of Benjamin Franklin7 and Lurinda Adeline (Haggerty) Whitney, was born 14 Jun 1867, Yorkshire, NY, and died 1 Mar 1937, Little Valley, NY. He was buried in Little Valley Rural Cemetery, Little Valley, NY.[1]
He married, 14 Jun 1892, Colden, NY, Louise E. Frantz, daughter of Frederick and Catherine (-----) Frantz. She was born 1869, and died 1942. She was buried in Little Valley Rural Cemetery, Little Valley, NY.[2]
He was called "Burt" in 1870 and 1880 censuses.

- "He went into business for 5 years with his brother in purchasing a general store in Colden, New York. After that he moved to Machias, New York, and had his own General store for 6 years. From there he was a Photographer owning his own studio in which he gained high reputation. He was a member of the Congregational Church and Chapter 266 of Masonic Order."
In 1900 they were living with her parents Frederick and Catherine Frantz who were landlords. In 1907 they owned their own house on Main St. in Little Valley Village in Cattaraugus, New York, and had their daughter Katherine Lurinda Whitney. They had no other children.
