Ambrose7 Whitney (Daniel6, [prob.] Caleb5, Joshua4, Richard3, Richard2, John1), son of Daniel6 and Susanna (Carlton) Whitney, was born 8 Nov 1811, Kennebunk or Hallowell, ME,[1] and died 26 Mar 1863, Boston, MA, aged 51 years, of disease of heart, baker.[2]
He married, 2 Aug 1849, Augusta, ME, Mary Jane Couch.[3] She was born about 1821, Hallowell, ME, and died after 1863.
Children of Ambrose and Mary Jane (Couch) Whitney, possibly incomplete:
i. Ella F. Whitney, b. ca. 9 Sep 1851, Augusta or Hallowell, ME; d. 26 Nov 1896, Everett, MA, aged 45 years 2 months 17 days, of pericarditis;[4] m. 7 Nov 1877, Boston, MA, Albert Roberts, b. ca. 1850, Cape Breton Island, son of William and Sarah (-----) Roberts.[5]
