Amos⁷ Whitney (Ephraim⁶, Nathaniel⁵, Nathaniel⁴, Nathaniel³, John², John¹), son of Ephraim⁶ and Thankful (Harrington) Whitney, was born 29 Jun 1759, Upton, MA,^[1] and died 22 Sep 1841, Upton, MA, aged 83 years.^[2]

He married, 7 Feb 1782, Upton, MA, Eunice Taft,^[3] daughter of Robert and Jane (Craig) Taft. She was born 23 Oct 1760, Upton, MA, and died 7 Mar 1813, Upton, MA, aged 52 years.^[4]

He was born in Upton where he always resided. At his father's death he inherited part of his farm, on which he lived. He resided Upton, MA.
