He married firstly, Lucretia/Lucinda Remington, daughter of William and Lovina (Hill) Remington. She was born 25 Aug 1804, Stephentown, NY, and died 21 Mar 1843.

He married secondly, Clarissa Campbell. She was born about 1807, NY, and died 12 Nov 1890, Dundas, ON.
