Benjamin7 Whitney (James6, Benjamin5, Daniel4, Henry3, John2, Henry1), son of James6 and Mary (Frisbie) Whitney, was born 10 Aug 1822, Shelby, NY, and died after 1880.
He married firstly, 5 Nov 1845, Lima, OH, Minerva Daniels, daughter of Nathan and Mary (Thanathorne) Daniels, of Allen Co., OH. She was born 16 Apr 1826, Allen Co., OH, and died 17 May 1856, Moulton, OH, where whe was buried in Shawnee Cemetery.
He married secondlly, 1 Mar 1857, Auglaize Co., OH, Margaret Josephine Armstrong, daughter of Aquila and Margaret (Harris) Armstrong. She was born 14 Apr 1841, Knox Co., OH, and died after 1880.
Phoenix says the following:
- ". . . a farmer . . . . They dwelt at Duchouquet, Ohio, in June 1877."
