Caleb5 Whitney (Jonathan4, Richard3, Richard2, John1), son of Jonathan4 and Alice (Willard) Whitney, was born 4 Oct 1729, Lancaster, MA,[1] and died 28 Mar 1822, Sterling, MA, aged 92 years.[2]

He married, 16 Nov 1749, Harvard, MA, Annes Church,[3] daughter of Joshua and Annis (Johnson) Church. She was born 15 Nov 1730, Andover, MA, and died 6 Apr 1807, aged 75 years.

Pierce says the following:[4]

His will was probated May 1, 1822, of Sterling, and his son Jonathan was appointed executor. Mentions wife Annes, dau. Elizabeth PIERCE, son Joshua, son Joseph, dau. Annis HOLMAN, son Hezekiah, and son Jonathan.

v. Caleb Whitney, b. 23 Jun 1758, Harvard, MA;[11] d. 10 Dec 1777, in the Revolutionary army. He was in a Lancaster company.
