Family:Whitney, Calvin (1815-1892)

Calvin⁸ Whitney (John Rodman⁷, William⁶, Thomas⁵, William⁴, William³, Joshua², John¹), son of John Rodman⁷ and Catherine (Schoonover) Whitney, was born 30 May 1815, NY and died 24 Jul 1892.

He married, 5 Sep 1844, Lorain Co., OH, Emma Lucy Morse, his second cousin, daughter of Benjamin Franklin and Lucy⁷ (Whitney) Morse, and granddaughter of Joshua⁶ and Hannah (Green) Whitney. She was born 16 Mar 1818, Binghamton, NY, and died 25 Nov 1859, Camden, OH, aged 42 of dropsy.^[1]

He came to Camden in 1834.
