Family:Whitney, Daniel (1761-a1830)
Daniel5 Whitney (Sylvanus4, Joseph3, Jonathan2, John1), son of Sylvanus4 and Hannah (-----) Whitney was born 12 Apr 1761,[1] and died after 1830 (and apparently before 1840).
He married firstly, 3 Jun 1807, Hollis, NH, Mary Hale. [2] She was born between 1774 and 1784, and died between 1810 and 1820.
He married secondly, 4 Jan 1820, Dunstable, MA, Rachel Bates, "both of Dunstable, N.H."[3] She was born between 1770 and 1775, and died after 1830 (and apparently before 1840).
Children of Daniel5 and Mary (Hale) Whitney:
i. Hale6 Whitney, b. ca. 1810, Dunstable, NH; d. after 1840, and apparently before 1850; m. ----- -----. No known children.

- 1830, Dunstable, Hillsborough Co., NH: Daniel Whitney, 1 male 60-69, 1 male 15-19, 1 female 70-79, and 1 female 50-59.
- 1840: not found.
- 1840, Nashua, Hillsborough Co., NH: Hall Whitney, 1 male 30-39 and 1 female 30-39; 1 engaged in agriculture.
- 1850: son Hale not found. No likely widow found.
