David7 Whitney (Judah6, Simon5, Jonathan4, Richard3, Richard2, John1), son of Judah6 and Polly (McIntyre) Whitney, was born b. 28 Oct 1800, Ashby, MA,[1] and probably died between 1840 and 1850.

He married, 31 Dec 1827, Springfield, VT, Lydia Stocker, both of Springfield.[2] She was born about 1804, VT, and died after 1870.

Children of David7 and probably Lydia (Stocker) Whitney:

i. Emily Jane7 Whitney, b. ca. 1829, VT; d. after 1870; m. 18 Mar 1851, Springfield, VT, Amos Ward Dana, alias Ward B. Dana,[3] of Sangamon and Stark Cos., IL, b. 12 Nov 1825, Woodstock, VT, son of Daniel Putnam and Persis (Brown) Dana.
