Ebenezer5 Whitney (Jason4, Mark3, Benjamin2, John1), son of Jason4 and Lois (Fisher) Whitney, was born 2 Mar 1784, Natick, MA,[1] and died 23 Sep 1855, Wayland, MA.[2].
He married firstly, 8 Apr 1807, Natick, MA, Mary Brown,[3] daughter of Aaron and Martha (Walker) Brown. She was born 1 Aug 1785, Framingham, MA, and died 22 Jul 1822, Natick, MA, aged 37 years.[4]
He married secondly, 10 Nov 1822, Natick, MA, Joanna Law "of Acton",[5] daughter of Thomas and Rachel (Johnson) Law. She was born about Nov 1804, Acton, MA (birth not recorded), and died 4 Oct 1883, Wayland, MA, aged 78 years 11 months, of dropsy.[6]
He remarried soon after the death of his first wife in July of 1822, having a small baby and other children in the house.
Pierce says the following:[7]
- He was born in Natick, Mass., and after his marriage resided on the BEAL farms in that town and at East Sudbury. Later he lived in Wayland. Was an innkeeper and proprietor of a line of stages at Natick.
