Family:Whitney, Eleazer (1702-1758)
Eleazer4 Whitney (Eleazar3, Thomas2, John1), son of Eleazer3 and Dorothy (Ross) Whitney, was born 5 Apr 1702, Watertown, MA, was baptized 15 Apr 1702, Watertown, MA,[1] and died 14 Sep 1758, Westborough, MA.[2]
Eleazer married, 9 Nov 1743, Westborough, MA, Mary Grow,[3] daughter of Samuel and Deborah (Forbush) Grow. She was born Aug 1726, Sutton, MA, and died 4 Sep 1761, Westborough, MA.[4]
He was a town charge in 1737/8 at Watertown, MA. [This seems to be a confusion with his father.]
Pierce says the following:[5]
- Eleazer was born in Watertown, and resided in that part of Marlboro subsequently incorporated as Westboro. The inventory of his estate was made Dec. 11, 1760. The estate was settled, according to Worcester Probate Records, Oct. 24, 1767.
