He married, 7 Jan 1810, Milford, MA, Betsy Mellen Green,[3] daughter of Lemuel and Sukey (Torrey) Green. She was born Mendon, 17 Dec 1792, Mendon, MA, and died 23 Aug 1871, Bellingham, MA, aged 78 years, of inflammation of bowels.[4] She married secondly, 9 Sep 1825, Milford, MA, Micah Bent.[5]
