Census
- 1830: not found.
- 1840: not found. There was an "E. Everett" enumerated in Sheffield, with whom was living Hannah Whitney, aged 81, widow of a Revolutionary War pensioner. That was surely Everett Whitney's mother. Was this entry an error for "E[verett] Whitney"? In E. Everett's family were 1 male 40-49, 3 males 15-19, 1 male 10-14, 1 female 80-89 (Hannah Whitney, aged 81), 1 female 40-49, and 1 female 10-14. This may indicate a husband, wife, mother/mother-in-law, four sons, and a daughter. This doesn't fit the family of Everett Whitney well.
