Rev. George7 Whitney (Simon6, Timothy5, Jonas4, Moses3, Richard2, John1), son of Simon6 and Lucy (Hammond) Whitney, was born 12 Feb 1800, Petersham, MA,[1] and died 24 Nov 1882, Shelburne, VT.

He married firstly, 24 Mar or 21 May 1823, Essex, VT, Lucy Kellogg.[2] She was born Oct 1798, and died 10 Sep 1851.

He married secondly, 12 Mar 1852, Essex, VT, Emeline J. (Bliss) Tyler, daughter of Elias and Beulah (White) Bliss. She was born 13 Sep 1807, Essex, VT, and died 13 Mar 1871. She had married firstly, 18 Apr 1827 or 15 Apr 1828, Loren Tyler.

He, of Colchester, VT, married thirdly, 2 Sep 1873, Colchester, VT, or Fitchburg, MA [also recorded in Hubbardston, MA], Caroline J. (Davis)(Joseph) Walton, of Fitchburg, MA, daughter of John and Deborah (Bellows) Davis.[3] She was born 24 Apr 1810, Princeton, MA, and died 22 Jun 1888, Greenfield, MA, aged 78 years 1 month 29 days, of paralysis.[4] She had married firstly, 8 Nov 1832, Richmond Co., GA, Bartemus Joseph. She had married secondly, 7 May 1846, Charlestown, MA, Samuel Walton.

He resided Shelburne, VT.

iii. Carrie A. Whitney, b. ca. 1851, Essex, VT; d. 23 Oct 1902, Morristown, VT, aged 50 years, of apoplexy;[7] m. 15 Aug 1871, Morristown, VT, Charles C. Wilson, son of John and Rebecca (-----) Wilson.[8]
