George David⁸ Whitney (David⁷, Elijah⁶, Thomas⁵, Thomas⁴, Eleazer³, Thomas², John¹), son of David⁷ and Samaria (Wheeler) Whitney, was born 11 Sep 1828,^[1] Westborough, MA,^[2] and died after 1900.

He married, 10 Jun 1862, Hopkinton, MA, or Westborough, MA, Sarah Jane Garfield, daughter of Jasper and Nancy (Wood) Garfield.^[3] She was born 2 Oct 1831,^[4] Upton, MA, and died 11 Oct 1901, Upton, MA, aged 70 years 9 days, of convulsions.^[5]

They resided Upton, MA.
