Family:Whitney, George Henry (1849-1895)
George Henry8 Whitney (John7, Israel6, Joshua5, Daniel4, Benjamin3, John2, John1), son of John7 and Marietta (Parks) Whitney, was born 5 Nov 1849, Worcester, MA,[1], and died 1 Aug 1895, Worcester, MA, aged 46 years 8 months 27 days, of Bright's disease and uraemic coma.[2]
Despite being called unmarried at death, it seems likely he was the George H. Whitney who married, late 1870, Katie Gunigle/Gonegal. She was born about 1850, Ireland, and apparently died soon after the birth of her child.
He was a jeweler and watchmaker. He resided at 31 Clinton St., Worcester, MA, at death.
