George Woods8 Whitney (Thomas7, Timothy6, Thomas5, Thomas4, Eleazer3, Thomas2, John1), son of Thomas7 and Abigail (Hapgood) Whitney, was born 11 Jun 1809 (twin), Marlborough, MA,[1] and died 22 Feb 1872, Hudson, MA, aged 64 years 4 months 7 days, of heart disease.[2]
He married, 2 Oct 1834, Marlborough, MA, Susan B. Whitney.[3] She is consistently called "Sarah B." in the census records. Nothing is known of her parentage. She was born about 1809, Watertown, MA, and died after 1870.

(Fay) Brigham.
