Horace S.8 Whitney (Josiah Williams7, Samuel6, Samuel5, Matthias4, Cornelius3, Joshua2, John1), son of Josiah Williams7 and Clarissa (Weeks) Whitney, was born 20 Jun 1848, Eastford, CT,[1] and died 1933. He was buried in Grove Street Cemetery, Putnam, CT.[2]

He married, about 1873, Mary L. Spencer, daughter of Jeremiah and Ann (-----) Spencer. She was born Oct 1852, CT, and died 1936. She was buried in Grove Street Cemetery, Putnam, CT.[3]
