Family:Whitney, Isaac (1782-1860)

Isaac⁶ Whitney (Richard⁵, Israel⁴, Ebenezer³, Richard², John¹), son of Richard⁵ and Hannah (Holt) Whitney, was born 21 Jan 1782, Wilton, NH,^[1] and died 22 Nov 1860, Weston, VT.

He married firstly, Dec 1806, Chester, VT, Abigail Edson.^[2] She was born 13 Feb 1786, Wilton, NH, and died 11 Jun 1833, Greenfield, MA.

He married secondly, before 1840, Sarah -----. She was born about 1781-1786, NH or VT, and died 14 Sep 1864.

Isaac and Sarah are buried in Island Cemetery, Weston, VT.

ii.	Eleanor E. Whitney, b. 1814, Brookline, VT; d. 30 Dec 1861; m. 16 Feb 1845, Manchester, NH, John Peters.[3] She was listed under her maiden name in her father's family in 1850.
iii.	Sarah Whitney, b. ca. 1820, VT; d. after 1850.
iv.	Isaac C. Whitney, b. 14 Jun 1821, Putney, VT; m. Sophia H. Giles.
v.	Abigail Whitney, b. ca. 1825, VT; d. (poss) Mar 1860, Rutland, Co.[4]
