He married, 15 May 1845, Sherborn, MA, Susan Almira Cleale, daughter of Joseph and Susan (Wood) Cleale.[2] She was born 2 Nov 1822, Sherborn, MA, and died 31 Jan 1878, Sherborn, MA, aged 52 years 2 months 29 days, of pneumonia.[3]
