Jeremiah6 Whitney (John5, Samuel4, Joshua3, David2, Samuel1), son of John5 and Ann (Merritt) Whitney, was born 13 Oct 1775, NC, died 6 Feb 1827, Allen Co., KY.

He married Mary Gibson. She was born 1769, Bedford, VA, and died Allen Co., KY.

In 1800 the family was living in Pendleton County, SC.
