He married, 22 Sep 1847, East Woods, now Woodbury, L.I., NY, Emeline Van Sise, daughter of Jeremiah and Maria (White) Van Sise, of Woodbury.[2] She was born 28 Dec 1821, Woodbury, NY, and died 5 Oct 1905, Woodbury, NY, aged 83 years, 9 months, 7 days. She is buried in Fountain Hill Cemetery, Woodbury, NY.[3]
