John A. Whitney (James H., Ammi Ruhamah, James, [poss.] Isaac⁴, Nathaniel³, Benjamin², John¹), son of James H. and Rosa (Anderson) Whitney, was born 3 Nov 1866, Falmouth, ME,^[1] and died after 1900.

He married, 11 Jan 1892, Falmouth (or Portland), ME, Georgie M. Stubbs, daughter of Augustus and ----- (Winslow) Stubbs.^[2] She was born Aug 1873, ME, and died after 1900.
