John Hammond7 Whitney (John6, Joshua5, Eleazer4, Eleazer3, Thomas2, John1), son of John6 and Lucy (Chamberlin) Whitney, was born 26 Jul 1815, Sandisfield, MA,[1] and died 1 Feb 1897, Sandisfield, MA, aged 81 years 6 months 6 days, of pneumonia.[2]
He married, 25 Nov 1839, Sandisfield, MA, Olive L. Snow "of Tolland",[3] daughter of Tilley and Lurinda (Moore) Snow. She was born about 6 May 1819, Tolland, MA, and died Egremont, MA, 17 Feb 1902, aged 82 years 9 months 11 days, of asthenia broncho pneumonia.[4]
Both are buried in West New Boston Cemetery, New Boston, MA.
He resided Sandisfield, MA.
