Jonathan4 Whitney (Richard3, Richard2, John1), son of Richard3 and Elizabeth (Sawtell) Whitney,[1] was born 27 Feb 1695, Stow, MA,[2] or 26 Feb 1698/9, Stow, MA, calculated from age at death,[3] and died 8 Nov 1773, Harvard, MA, aged 78 years 8 months 12 days.[4]
Jonathan married, 29 Jan 1718/9 or 25 Feb 1718/9, Lancaster, MA, Alice Willard,[5] daughter of Simon and Mary (Whitcomb) Willard.[6] She was born Dec 1699, Lancaster, MA, calculated from age at death, and died 19 Feb 1792, Harvard, MA, aged 92 years 2 months.[7]
He was also known as Capt. Jonathan Whitney. He was also known as Dea. Jonathan Whitney.

Caleb Whitney, b. 4 Oct 1729, Lancaster, MA;[10] m. Annes Church. vi. Oliver Whitney, b. 22 Jul 1731, Lancaster, MA;[11] d. 16 Apr 1802, Harvard, MA, in 71st year;[12] m. 10 or 16 Nov 1752, Harvard, MA, Abigail Hutchins,[13] daughter of William and Bethia (Carleton) Hutchins, b. ca. 1731. Deacon. "Mary WILDER, wid. of John, of Lancaster, [was] executrix of Abigail's will. Deacon Oliver was a farmer in Harvard; his will is dated Feb. 1, 1801-2; he leaves estate to wife Abigail, brothers Caleb and Hezekiah, and Simon and Jonathan; and sisters Betsey, wife of Phinehas WETHERBEE; Alice, wife of Timothhy WHITNEY; Rhumah, wife of Abel DAVIS. Israel WHITNEY, of Harvard, was executor. He served in the Revolutionary war. He d. s. p. Apr., 1802 [NOTE]; res. Harvard, Mass."[14] She died 8 Nov 1804, Harvard, MA, aged 73 years.[15] vii.
