Jonathan5 Whitney (Jonathan4, Richard3, Richard2, John1), son of Jonathan4 and Alice (Willard) Whitney,[1] was born circa 1724, calculated from age at death, and died 20 Jan 1770, Harvard, MA, in his 47th year.[2]
Jonathan married, 27 Nov 1746, Harvard, MA, Sarah Holt.[3] She was born circa 1725, and died 29 Oct 1769, Harvard, MA.[4]
Pierce says the following:[5]
- In seating the meeting house he was given ye second seat on ye side. Oliver was appointed admr. of his father's [sic--brother's] estate Apr. 30, 1770; inventory was made Mar. 28, 1771.
