Family:Whitney, Jonathan (c1724-1770)

Jonathan⁵ Whitney (Jonathan⁴, Richard³, Richard², John¹), son of Jonathan⁴ and Alice (Willard) Whitney,^[1] was born circa 1724, calculated from age at death, and died 20 Jan 1770, Harvard, MA, in his 47th year.^[2]

Jonathan married, 27 Nov 1746, Harvard, MA, Sarah Holt.^[3] She was born circa 1725, and died 29 Oct 1769, Harvard, MA.^[4]

Pierce says the following:^[5]

In seating the meeting house he was given ye second seat on ye side. Oliver was appointed admr. of his father's [sic--brother's] estate Apr. 30, 1770; inventory was made Mar. 28, 1771.
