Joseph5 Whitney (Enoch4, Ebenezer3, Richard2, John1), son of Enoch4 and Thankful (Parke) Whitney, was born 18 Jun 1753, Kent, CT,[1] and died after 1837.
He "of New Preston" married, 2 Sep 1773, Washington, CT, Sarah Weeks "of Cornwall".[2] She was born before 1755, and died after 1800.
He lived in 1837 at Warren, CT.
Children of Joseph5 and Sarah (Weeks) Whitney, possibly incomplete:
i. (daughter)6 Whitney, b. 1773-1774. ii. (son) Whitney, b. 1785-1790. This was probably the Joseph Whitney, Jr., who married, 28 Mar 1822, Warren, CT, Esther Kidney, both of Warren.[3]
