He married, 11 Oct 1841, Hannah Fletcher of Boxborough, MA. She was born 3 Apr 1811, Kennebunk, ME, and died 23 Sep 1873, Rockford, IL.
Joseph Addison Whitney was born in Harvard, MA. For a few years prior to his death, he engaged in the real estate business at Market Square, in Boston, MA, and was so engaged at the time of his demise. He resided Boston, MA.
